On the call of Chairman PTI, Tehreek-e-Insaf workers tried to take out rallies in various areas including Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, but police cracked down and arrested many workers. In Jatli area of Rawalpindi, the police cracked down and took ten workers into custody. A rally was taken out on NA-56 in Rawalpindi, passing through Dhok Rata and ending at Syedpur Road. The participants of the rally raised slogans of disapproval of one state, two constitutions. They were carrying PTI flag and pictures of Imran Khan. A rally was also held in Peshawar, but the police stopped the rally on the ring road. On this occasion, there was a scuffle between the police and PTI workers. Police arrested several PTI workers.
In Karachi, Tehreek-e-Insaf held a rally in Clifton where the police detained more than 50 workers.
Allama Iqbal Road in Lahore echoed with the slogans of the founder chairman. A rally was held in NA 119 under the leadership of Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Mian Shahzad Farooq in which men, women and women participated in large numbers. A heavy contingent of police was deployed but the workers were outnumbered.
