If PTI lost the mark of the bat, can it join with any other party?

Before the elections in Pakistan, since the Election Commission declared PTI's intra-party election null and void and withdrew the electoral symbol of the bat from the party, there is a debate about what the election strategy of PTI will be now.

Later, on December 26, the single bench of the Peshawar High Court suspended the decision of the Election Commission and said that the Division Bench will decide the case on January 9. After the injunction was withdrawn, PTI once again lost its electoral symbol, the bat.

When the Election Commission of Pakistan declared the PTI's intra-party election null and void and withdrew the election symbol of the bat, the position of the Election Commission was to exclude the PTI as a political party from the electoral process.

PTI Symbol

After that, when the Peshawar High Court restored the electoral symbol, there was a strong reaction from other political parties. Former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had termed the Peshawar High Court's decision as an attack on the authority of the Election Commission.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman also criticized the judge who gave the decision and termed it as a supporter of PTI. This was also criticized by Jahangir Tareen. He was of the opinion that 'Giving or withdrawing electoral marks is the authority of the Election Commission and not of the Peshawar High Court.'

But now after the decision of Peshawar High Court, many new questions have arisen. If the PTI does not get any relief from the Division Bench or the Supreme Court and remains deprived of the mark of the bat, what will be its strategy and what are its other options?

To what extent can the lack of bat mark affect the situation of election campaigning and election contesting?

Can PTI merge with any other party? Besides, if the PTI candidates who won the election with a different election symbol will not be able to keep their loyalty to the party if they do not see their party forming the government?
